Miscellaneous goals are designed to serve unique situations:
Create
a library of City programming for historical purposes (this may lead to an
archiving policy). Within this library of City programming, people can view
past and present media documentation saved by the government access channel.
This information can be resold or an excellent video can be
produced by using past and present photos, interviews
and a host that delivers the story.
Periodically survey viewership to ensure that the channel meets local
interests This allows you to reevaluate your goals and sets a precedent for
requesting funding for a survey in the future.
Act
as a resource for City
departments and agencies (centralizes resources).
Support the use of in-house video to orient and train City employees (provides dual usage of video production equipment).
