Mascots and Booster Clubs

There are always creative ways to promote the channel. Here are two of the more unusual methods:

• Plano TX has developed its own mascot for the government access channel. The mascot makes appearances at parades and public events, as well as on the channel.
  
• Huntington Beach, CA has a boosters or support club for the channel called the "Friends of HBTV-3." This group raises money to support the channel, which gives it automatic exposure.
